Your Act, Your Colors

You can order props such as foulards, bags for various props (linking rings, cups and balls, different sized cards) in a chosen palette of colors.

Pocket Management

Specialty pockets can be added to the interior of your coat, such as Topits, as well as rows of interior pockets for individual prop management. Slides between breast pocket to lower pocket available for Steel Ball routine, or Interlaced in slacks.

Working with Color to Make your Act Pop!

How do we present our props, silks, table cloths, etc? Sparkles can make props appear more expensive. Do our props follow a color scheme in our act? Mickey Hades wrote several books on colors for props. He favored primary colors with white and black as basic color themes. Saturated colors work better on stage than pastels.

Magic is a fluid art form.  You can experiment with your own collection of colors. The colors of your props should give you a boost of dopamine. Your act, your colors, your individuality. Common color schemes in Magic might include

  • Red/white/black

  • Primary colors

  • Secondary colors

  • Chakra colors

  • Colors based on your horoscope

  • Multiple shades of a single color
